“Swinging through the city. Crawling on walls. Civilians love them, the press hates them, there are new spideys in town!
Meet Atlas and Aries in their new, captivating, crime fighting comic!”

“We’re called SP//dr and we protect the city. Like my father, a soldier — who died in service of his people — we will be this, until terminal failure–”

“I’m not a role model, I was briefly a runway model. I hate the AM, I hate the PM, I hate labels, I’m not a hero, because calling yourself a hero makes you a self-mythologizing narcissistic autocrat.”

“I may not be at my best. All right, I’m nowhere close to my best. But it doesn’t matter. I have to try or else innocent people pay the price… That’s what being a hero means.”

“This is Abstract Spider; she is a very obnoxious yet loving person, like an annoying ray of sunshine that flashes directly into your eyes constantly. She is not a huge fighter, but she will literally tear apart anyone who comes between her and her friends/family. Her “special” ability is she can put people in a trance when contact is made with the webs, but it does not work as well on other spider people. She loves to talk big game, but in reality she’s all bark and no bite.”

“I included elements from my culture in my Spidersona after being inspired by Pavitr Prabhakar from Across the Spiderverse.”

{Spiderbelle and Callie}
“Callie is a reporter who is particularly interested in Spiderbelle, Santa Pearla’s mysterious superhero. It turns out that they’re actually her spouse Katrina, which is why Spiderbelle seems to avoid the news so much!”
This drawing takes place before Katrina / Spiderbelle goes off to save the city yet again.

“The inspiration behind this piece is Spiderman after his mission. We typically see him in action during the day, fighting crime, but I wanted to showcase him after a long day of work, coming home to sleep. After all, he is a normal human being and needs to rest.”
