Uncertainty

| Being one of the first realistic portraits I ever drew in quarantine back in 2020, the contrast between light and dark represents the loneliness and unfamiliarity of the time. The lack of eyes in the picture implies a feeling we know all too well: uncertainty, not knowing where to look to in such an unprecedented situation (and totally not the fact that I didn’t know how to draw eyes at the time).
