I wanted to capture the enigmatic, dark, yet elegant atmosphere of an abandoned church when I created this piece. It originally started as practice for background studies, but it turned into something more of an ambitious project. I mainly used a Procreate paint brush I borrowed from an artist I liked online and airbrush on add layer (it makes things brighter) for lighting. When I think of fall, I think of a darker, cooler feeling. Most of the time, it is associated with Halloween or something spooky, and I believe this piece emits that much needed spookiness.
