Shadow

Inspired by the spirit of Halloween, this digital piece encapsulates the notion of inner turmoil beneath one’s outward appearance. I utilized control of light and shadow within the piece to accentuate the the subject and express emotion with an absence of facial expressions. As a digital artist for 5 years, I challenge myself by relying on lighting and composition to convey my purpose and add a level of ambiguity to my illustrations.
