What is your favorite style of photography?
I don’t really have a favorite style, but I do like testing different settings on my camera.
How did you get into photography/how long have you been doing this?
A year ago, I found my dad’s old camera and it turned out to be really nice, so I started taking photos with it.
Is there a particular technique you enjoy using to take photos?
I enjoy taking pictures using long exposure, a technique where a camera’s shutter stays open for a longer time allowing more light to be captured, creating a motion blur in the image.

Do you have a favorite location or thing you like to shoot?
I like taking photos inside my house. It is where I practice with household objects.
How do you consider yourself unique from other photographers?
I consider myself unique from other photographers because I add negatives, use less saturation, and smaller amounts of colors. I also add lots of white and black because I personally think it makes the quality of the photo better.

What is a memorable experience or insight you gained from photographing?
Over the summer, I got some memorable shots at Monterey for car week, a collection of many events where you can see a wide spectrum of vintage and modern cars.
What is an insight you gained from photographing?
I learned that photography is subjective and art is subjective. Everybody interprets art differently.
Advice?
If you are shooting on an iPhone, you should learn all of the basics of photography like capture and shutter so you can really take advantage of the camera settings. It is also important to get a lot of practice so that you can express yourself better in them.
